This one day course is aimed at managers, supervisors and team leaders or any appointed by the employer to conduct Risk Assessments. The one day course will incorporate two Risk Assessment training programmes:

General Risk Assessment
Following an insight into statutory requirements for Risk Assessments under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, this course will cover:
- The meaning of the terms "hazard" and "risk"
- The systematic approach to conducting risk assessments
- Risk reduction and control strategies
- Specific requirements for pregnant workers and young persons
- Specific requirements for assessing First Aid needs

Lecture and workshop, with written and practical assessments
