New CDM 2015 Regulations Workshop
This course is intended for all involved in projects covered by the current requirements of CDM, and particularly for those who will see a higher level of regulation under the amended regulations, e.g. Senior Managers/Directors in construction companies of all sizes, Site Managers/Supervisors and those working on domestic projects.
The CDM regulations are undergoing a significant change. The requirement for a CDM co-ordinator has gone and a new appointment of Principal Designer must be made. There are new requirements on Companies working on domestic properties, meaning hundreds of small/medium sized companies will be affected. The regulations will come into force on 6th April 2015 and there are limited transition arrangements. This 2-hour workshop will clarify the requirements of the new CDM regulations 2015 and help construction companies to continue to comply with the law.
Agenda will include:
- Application of the regulations
- New notification threshold
- Duty holders
- New requirements on work for domestic clients
- Contractual relationships
