Confined Space Awareness
(Please Note: This course does not cover confined space entry or include the use of Breathing Apparatus. If this is required, you will need to attend a one-two day Course – any persons attending a two day Course must be 100% fit and well, if in doubt a medical certificate stating this will be required)
Course Objectives:
This Course is aimed at any personnel who work near Confined Spaces or might be associated with Confined Space Operations. It will raise awareness for the dangers of working in confined spaces and safe working practices in line with the Confined Spaces Regulations. The Course will ensure that site personnel are aware of their duties of care to themselves and others on site.
Course Duration:
This is a half day Course.

- Specific requirements of the Confined Spaces Regulations
- Types of Atmosphere / Atmosphere Testing
- Risk Assessment
- Client Permit to Work and Risk Assessment requirements
- Selection of Equipment (for risk)
- Limitation and Duration times
- Equipment checks
- Written Test Paper
Venue Requirements:
- A Training Room suitable for the number of delegates to be seated
- Close, free, secure parking for instructors vehicle.
