Since 2001 there have been 61 accidents involving tower cranes. 9 people have died, and 25 have been seriously injured. Tower and mobile cranes are used extensively on construction projects and present a number of potential hazards.

This half day Training Course is designed to enable delegates to understand the types of cranes currently used in Construction, hazards when cranes are operating on site, legal duties of the crane hirer and the crane user, safe operating practices and signals, crane supervision and contract lifts.

Duration:
This is a Half Day Course

Training Method:

Classroom based session. Instructor will use a PPT Presentation. Delegates complete a pre theory test paper to ascertain knowledge base, plus a post theory test paper.
