Details
Managing Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) requires proper training to ensure safety and legal compliance. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998 and Work at Height Regulations 2005 mandate that employers provide adequate instruction for those planning, supervising, and managing work at height.

Prerequisites
The following list of prerequisites are required to take this course:
- 16 years or older
- able to work at height
- sufficiently fit to undergo MEWP training
- free from the effects of drugs and alcohol
- fluent in spoken and written English
- have the full postal address and post code of their employer
What to Bring
The following items are required to bring on the day of the course:
- Valid Photo ID - For example Passport or Driving License
- Clean comfortable clothing, suitable for classroom
- Lunch (although there are many local eateries nearby)- tea and coffee are provided
- PPE (Hi-Vis, Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Shoes, Cold/Wet weather clothing)
- An in-date inspected harness and an adjustable restraint lanyard (2m fall arrest lanyard not suitable) - we also sell these (or can lend you one for the course)
