Operating Push Around Vertical (PAV) lifts requires proper training to ensure safety and legal compliance. Prerequisites

The following list of prerequisites are required to take this course:

  • 16 years or older
  • able to work at height
  • sufficiently fit to undergo MEWP training
  • free from the effects of drugs and alcohol
  • fluent in spoken and written English
  • have the full postal address and post code of their employer

What to Bring

The following items are required to bring on the day of the course:

  • Valid Photo ID - For example Passport or Driving License
  • Clean comfortable clothing, suitable for classroom
  • Lunch (although there are many local eateries nearby)- tea and coffee are provided
  • PPE (Hi-Vis, Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Shoes, Cold/Wet weather clothing)
  • An in-date inspected harness and an adjustable restraint lanyard (2m fall arrest lanyard not suitable) - we also sell these (or can lend you one for the course)
